Although the weather was somewhat “frightful”, many residents and Museum volunteers came out to support the 2nd Annual Earlville Business Association’s Christmas Festival on Sunday, December 2nd. The rain/ice storm prior to the date caused a bit of havoc, but the EBA committee and the City of Earlville workers did a great job getting the park and downtown ready with only a few last-minute changes to the itinerary. Since there wasn’t much snow left, Santa arrived by horse and carriage. He greeted more than 100 children, (most of them) anxious to tell him what was on their Christmas lists. Even a few of our members took a few minutes to pose with Santa and whisper in his ear!
