The 2020 ECHS Calendars are now on sale!  Take a trip down Memory Lane or learn something that you didn’t know about our community.  As usual, the calendar is chock-full of vintage pictures of people and places in Earlville.  They sell for $15 each and can be purchased at Sandy’s Shear Magic, First State Insurance, The Barber Shop or at the Museum (during usual business hours).  If you are not in the area and wish to have one sent to you, contact us by mail (ECHS, PO Box 683, Earlville 60518) or via email at earlville.history@yahoo.com.  There is a $2 per calendar charge for shipping.  These  make great Christmas gifts but are in limited supply and go fast – so get your order in now!

Our first-ever Quarter Auction Fundraiser at the Mendota Moose Club was held on June 13th.  There was a huge Earlville presence which made for a fun night!  The Moose reported to us that this was one of the largest and more profitable fundraisers that they have hosted.  The Historical Society thanks the many volunteers who donated baskets, food items or worked at the event.  The money raised was used to repair our chairlift to the second floor.  We’ve asked to be included on the schedule in June again next year so stay tuned for details closer to that time!
